a lot of you have been asking how I edit and gatekeeping is weird
so… here!
this won’t magically fix bad photos, but it will stop you from making everything look flat and help you figure out where the light actually goes
this isn’t just a “preset pack”
it’s how I actually edit without overthinking it or turning everything into the same brightness
you’ll get my 9 go-to presets, the actions I click constantly, and a simple breakdown of how I put it all together
if your photos ever feel:
flat
kind of gray or lifeless
like everything is the same brightness
this is for you
it’s not about making things brighter
it’s about deciding where the light actually hits
the guide
how I edit without overthinking it
short, simple, actually useful
presets
your starting point so you’re not guessing
actions
the buttons I use to fix light instead of messing with everything
raws
a few raw images for you to practice with
you’ll need Adobe Lightroom Classic (desktop) to use these
this is not:
a one-click fix
heavy retouching
a full course
you’ll still make small adjustments
this just gives you direction so you stop guessing and have a strong starting point
my 9 go-to presets that I use as a base for all of my photos:
KB base edit
clean studio
courthouse steps
direct sun (ew help)
filmy vibes
golden hour-ish
open shade
overcast fix
prom night
6 actions to help direct light and add depth:
brighten subject
hint of sun
calm the background
darken foreground
save the sky
hazy sunshine
this won’t fix terrible lighting and it won’t turn a bad photo into a perfect one
but if your photo already has decent light?
this will help you bring it to life
